Quick Start Guide

1 Install the App

Download Truma Control from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

2 Configure MQTT

Go to Settings tab → Enter your MQTT broker details (host, port, credentials).

3 Connect

Tap "Save and Connect" → Check MQTT status indicator (green = connected).

4 Monitor & Control

Use the three tabs to control temperature, hot water, and power settings.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Connection Problems

MQTT Not Connecting

• Verify broker hostname/IP is correct
• Check port number (default: 1883 for non-TLS, 8883 for TLS)
• Ensure broker is running and accessible from your network
• Check username/password if authentication is required

Intermittent Connection

• Check Wi-Fi/cellular signal strength
• Verify MQTT broker is stable
• Enable "Background App Refresh" in iOS Settings
