βWhat we collect
MF-Lab does not collect your personal information. Blue-AC Console has no user accounts, no servers of its own, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs: it uses only Apple frameworks. Nothing the app reads from your power station is sent to MF-Lab.
π‘What the app reads
The app scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices whose advertised name starts with AC180 or AC70. Once you choose a unit, it reads technical telemetry from it:
- state of charge, remaining runtime, battery voltage and current;
- AC input, DC input, AC output and DC output power, and whether the outputs are on;
- charging source and mode, grid connection and internal temperature.
These readings are processed on your device to draw the dashboard, the charts, the alarms and the other screens. The app only reads: it never sends commands to your power station.
Blue-AC Console asks for Bluetooth permission for this purpose only. To keep the connection while the app is in the background, it uses iOS's Bluetooth background mode, so history and alarms can keep working.
πΎWhat stays on your device
To work, the app keeps a few things locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- Your unit: the Bluetooth identifier and name of the power station you selected, so the app can reconnect.
- Your settings: alarm switches and battery level, the CarPlay voice language and similar choices.
- History: one averaged point per minute of power in and out, charge and temperature, kept for 30 days. It is used for the charts and never uploaded.
- Purchase status: whether Pro is unlocked, and which free trial sessions you have used.
- A diagnostic log: a file of technical connection events (such as the unit's Bluetooth name, signal strength and connection steps). It stays on your device unless you send it yourself.
- The latest reading and the last hour of history, shared with the app's widget and Live Activity on the same device.
Demo Mode uses simulated data and does not read your power station. Removing the app deletes this data from the device. Depending on your own settings, iOS may include app data in your device backups, which Apple and you control.
βWidgets, Live Activity, Apple Watch, CarPlay and iPad
- Widgets and Live Activity show the latest reading on your Home Screen, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. They are updated locally by the app, without push servers. On a Mac, iPhone Live Activities can appear in the menu bar through Apple's own features.
- Apple Watch: your iPhone sends the latest reading to your paired Apple Watch with Apple's WatchConnectivity. The Watch does not connect to the power station or to the internet on its own for this.
- CarPlay: the same locally read telemetry is shown on the car's display. The optional voice readout is generated on your device with Apple's speech synthesis.
- iPad: the app works as it does on iPhone, as a compact floating panel.
None of these send your readings to MF-Lab.
πNotifications and alarms
If you turn on the Grid and Battery alarms, the app asks for permission to show notifications. They are local notifications created on your device when the app reads a change, such as a lost grid or a low battery. No push notification service is involved, and nothing about them leaves your device.
πPurchases
Blue-AC Console Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. The app receives the purchase status from Apple to unlock Pro features. MF-Lab does not receive your payment card details or your Apple Account information.
πNetwork access
Reading your power station does not need the internet. The app has no MF-Lab cloud service. Network access is used by Apple's frameworks, for example to check an App Store purchase, and by actions you start yourself, such as opening an email or a link.
βοΈIf you contact us
In Diagnostics, βSend Logβ prepares an email to support@mf-lab.com with the diagnostic log attached. Nothing is sent unless you press send in your mail app, and you can read the message first.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write or attach. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems, and we do not share it.
ποΈYour control
- Turn off Bluetooth or notification access for Blue-AC Console in the iOS Settings at any time.
- Switch off the alarms in the app, stop the Live Activity from the menu, or remove a widget.
- Forget your power station in the app's Device settings, or remove the app to delete everything it stored.
Because MF-Lab does not hold your data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that message removed, write to the address below.
π¨βπ©βπ§Children's privacy
Blue-AC Console is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
