SmartEagle
Custom IoT sensors with multi-protocol connectivity and Industry 4.0 solutions for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance and process optimisation.
// Independent technology lab · Made in Switzerland
MF-Lab is the home of three ventures: SmartEagle builds IoT sensors for Industry 4.0, Lab-Apps makes focused apps for Apple platforms, and MF-Editions publishes books and podcasts about technology and the people who live with it. Alongside them, we advise companies on the hydrogen energy transition.
// Ventures
Each venture has its own site and its own audience. They share the same bench, the same method and the same obsession with details.
Custom IoT sensors with multi-protocol connectivity and Industry 4.0 solutions for real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance and process optimisation.
Independent applications for specific, real-world needs. Focused, native and designed around the way people actually use them.
Books in Italian and English, audiobooks and podcasts: technology told from the side of the people who use it, with curiosity and a healthy dose of doubt.

MF-LAB is the ideal partner for your energy transition and for cutting your company’s power costs: consultancy, study, design and construction of systems for small, medium and large companies.
Hydrogen can also be converted further into syngas, methane or LPG.
Electricity from hydrogen and oxygen across an electrochemical cell, with only water and a little heat as by-products. From small portable devices to backup power for buildings and off-grid sites.
Surplus renewable power turned into hydrogen by electrolysis, then stored and transported as compressed gas using existing infrastructure. Often considered the most promising route for seasonal storage.
// About
Behind MF-Lab is Marco Frigerio: thirty-five years with major multinationals, from IT and the Internet of Things to renewable energy and hydrogen. It all started in high school, with an Apple II Europlus and the feeling that behind the circuits there was a whole new way of thinking.
One problem solved properly, rather than ten solved halfway.
Local connections, no unnecessary cloud. Your data stays yours.
A small Swiss lab, no unnecessary complexity.
